If you haven’t heard the news, our One Night in Bangkok Smoothie IPA was awarded a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) earlier this month in Denver, Colorado.

What’s a GABF, you ask? Well, just let us give you the run down really quick! The GABF is the premier beer festival that takes place in the United States. Every year, the GABF represents the largest collection of U.S. beer served in a public event and private competition.

The GABF was founded in 1982, and has since continued to grow and evolve along side the American craft beer industry. The event takes place at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The GABF is even listed as one of the top 1,000 things to do in the U.S. before you die. With access to over 4,000 different beers from over 800 of the nations top craft breweries, the possibilities are endless.

The GABF has been held every year since the first festival that took place in 1982 and is presented by the Brewers Association, a not-for-profit educational and trade organization. The Brewers Association is devoted to ensuring that quality brewing and beer information is available to anyone. The Brewers Association promotes and protects the American craft beer, the brewers, and the community of brewing enthusiasts.

We are very grateful that the judging panel of the competition awarded One Night in Bangkok a silver medal in the Herb & Spice category. We look forward to what is still to come and hope that we will have the opportunity to place again next year.

But, only time will tell!
